Free Dreaming Farm first came to life In 2019 when hall of fame singer-songwriter David Malloy and world-class interior designer Kathy Anderson purchased the farm—15 acres of rolling hills with an old, run-down tobacco barn—and began planting the seeds for the perfect dream getaway. With his creative vision and her talent for giving life to physical spaces, Free Dreaming Farm was built as a labor of love and a place to escape bustling city life.

In 2022, the property was sold to friends of the family, award-winning writer/producer Rebekah Iliff and her husband. Together, a new vision sprouted and Free Dreaming Farm was ready for its next chapter. Part home, part sanctuary, part creative space, but all positive energy, the farm is a welcoming place for thinkers, dreamers, and doers to tell their stories.
